After an exhausting day of a final performance and dragging myself to the after-fringe party, looks like my second wind was worth it as I was pulled aside and told "Harmony, Anneka wants to meet you." Through a hazy conversation about how much she loved the show I came to realize that I had been invited to the Amsterdam Fringe in September! Score! Wasn't I just day dreaming about fringing in Amsterdam? How could it get better than that? Oh wait, here's how: not only are they naming me "The Best in Prague" but they are paying my way and setting me up in accommodations. Sam, pinch me, please. I'm still kind of uncertain as to whether the conversation really happened, but I keep getting reassurance that it's real.
So, off I trot to Amsterdam from September 2nd-6th for Human Fruit Bowl's Netherlands debut. Happy Birthday weekend!

Into the Compost...for now...
Well, Human Fruit Bowl had its last performance tonight at the Prague Fringe. For the most part, we've had very positive response and two great reviews and even talk of taking the show to other countries! In fact, I've been asked to fill in for a performance in another Prague theatre thang on Monday for a student who came to see my show and realized I had modeled for her way back when I lived in Prague. Pretty nifty. Looks like I'll be spreading my nudity to other Prague zones...So, the play is making a mark and it's pretty clear that we should continue to explore other cities and other audiences.
Hopefully, when my lovely playwright returns to NYC at the end of the summer, we can start rewrites and work-shopping to keep it going! Planning to hold an invite-only performance to get feedback and critique from our fellow theatre people some time this fall.
Thank you to all who helped us get this show on its feet and across an ocean!

And we're chuggin along...
Second Review!
The audiences keep getting better and better and people are spreading the word! In fact, one of the lovely volunteers said, very kindly, that I am currently in her top 3. We have 3 more shows to go in Prague and ideas are a-brewing for where to take it next: Dorset, England? Hong Kong? Amsterdam? San Francisco? New York?
Good vibes, indeed.
Friday, I get to celebrate my birthday as God, or whoever, intended: in my birthday suit!
